I just don't ask for help, so when the opportunity presented itself for a postpartum doula to help me after the birth of my second child, I was a bit hesitant. The days my head was spinning trying to get everyone on a schedule, she calmly put one together and we went with it. The never ending mound of laundry due to baby blow outs was always taken care of and she was the one person in all my life that could actually teach me how to swaddle. I will never forget the help she gave me. She became part of our family, both of my kids adore her, and I will always consider her a friend. I am so grateful that I took the leap and accepted her help. I highly recommend Liz to anyone! If you are a new mom, you NEED her!”

“I originally thought I would be utilizing Liz for help with normal new mom stuff…schedules, juggling nursing a newborn while taking care of a 2 1/2 year old, crazy postpartum hormones, etc. What I didn’t know was that she would be a crutch for me when my baby daughter was admitted to the NICU for 2+ weeks, and then sent home with an apnea monitor. "Where do I even begin?! I am a first time mother and my husband wanted me to feel comfortable when he went back to work, so he asked around to see if anybody could refer us to a Doula. Two completely separate people both suggested Liz. We went on her website and watched her Instagram stories and spoke to her on the phone and immediately fell in love with her. You could just tell by the tone in her voice that she was so compassionate and genuine and sweet and just had an upbeat and bubbly and kind and loving personality. We booked her right away! I can’t even begin to tell you how supported I feel by having Liz here with me. Not only has she been absolutely amazing in teaching me how to care for my newborn, she has been an ear to listen to me complain and cry and feel frustrated and has made me feel so much better and so much more comfortable when I am on my own. She also connected me with a postpartum chiropractor that was amazing and gave me resources for new mom groups in the area. I was able to go out and run errands and get back to feeling like myself. She not only taught me the basics (because I was having trouble feeding and burping my son), she set up our baby monitor and activity mats and spent hours building our pack and play and organizing our son’s clothing (totally OCD and perfectly coordinated, the way I love it!) and she gave me lots of different tactics and I always hear her in my head telling me that everything is going to be okay! We also have her coming back This week for some overnight so that my husband and I can get some sleep. And if that wasn’t enough, she is also available via phone or text message 24 hours a day! I sometimes text her in the middle of the night and she responds right away. She is just the best best best! I honestly could not ask for anything/anyone better. At the beginning of last week, I was having a nervous breakdown and felt so lost and confused and overwhelmed. Ever since Liz has come into my life, I am finally able to breathe and feel comfortable. Liz has been so beyond wonderful and a true godsend to our family!"

“I was instantly drawn towards Liz's personality. She is disarming in the best way possible, bubbly, easy going, funny, and beyond personable. Her "light" is undeniable, and she is one of those people you can tell is just special. I soon learned that not only is Liz warm, she's incredibly strong. Meeting her you would never know she has endured one of life's greatest tragedies, losing a child. I truly couldn't believe someone so positive, so light, has lived such darkness. I truly believe Liz was put in my life for a reason. 2 years ago after years of fertility struggles, I became pregnant with twins. At 22 weeks my water broke, and I had to deliver my twins, knowing their fate. I really don't remember much of what occurred at the hospital (I think a defense mechanism) but I do know the one person I asked my husband to call was Liz. Liz spoke to me while I was in labor, waiting to deliver my twins, waiting to live the same tragedy she had. It is hard to put into words the care and love Liz gave me that day, and continues to give me. All I know is she gave me answers to questions I never knew I would ask, kindness, support (physically and emotionally), empathy, guidance, and unconditional love. When I got pregnant with my daughter, I knew it would not be the typical pregnancy. It was filled with fear, emotional pain, and lots of triggers. Liz was there for it all - relating to me, listening to me, and guiding me. I am so fortunate to call Liz a dear friend, and a rock through this difficult road called motherhood.”

"Liz provided my son and I with postpartum support when he was 3 and 4 months old, around the time I went back to work. My son was collicky and her sunny disposition and outlook was refreshing and warm during that challenging time. I didn't realize how much support I needed aside from the care she lovingly gave to my son, until we began working together as a team. She helped me get our playroom organized, always did any dishes that were in the sink, and gave me time to take a shower and spend some time on myself. Her doula on demand service was so helpful when anxiety would creep in at night, or in a pinch if I couldn't remember a new tip she had given me. My only regret is that I didn't have more time with Liz, she is that wonderful!"
