Postpartum Care

Post birth, in home, non-medical support of mothers and family.

  • Daytime encouragement 9am-7pm (3-hour sessions)

  • Overnight assistance 10pm-6am

  • Nurturing, calm, judgment free, and compassionate support for the whole family

  • Guidance with feeding of your choice - breast and bottle

  • Hands on education with all aspects of newborn care: swaddling, baby wearing, ways to soothe, sleep tips, belly button care and everything in between

  • Help with light household chores, laundry, organization, meal preparation, etc.

  • Emotional support to help you find your footing in this wonderful yet overwhelming role - woman to woman, mom to mom

  • Assistance with sibling adjustment as this is a time of great change for the whole family

  • Accompanying mom to doctor appointments

  • Screening phone calls and visitors

  • Support of moms suffering with postpartum depression and anxiety

  • Providing community resources and helping to screen daytime care providers

Breastfeeding Support

Education of typical infant behavior and benefits of breast milk

  • Positioning and latching techniques

  • Training on pump usage and milk storage

  • Nursing for multiples

  • Maintaining a healthy milk supply

  • Prevention and treatment of sore nipples

  • Assistance of weaning or pump/ milk storage for going back to work

  • Referrals if need be
